    M&A and Transaction Solutions
    Team Manager Krakow



    *Service Delivery

    1.Organize and monitor current operations so that the team follows the agreed processes and delivers the outlined results
    2.Manage the team’s workload by ensuring that effective processes are in place for allocating tasks across various work-streams
    3.Ensure that there is a process in place to manage fluctuations in volumes and the team’s capacity to deliver is maintained throughout the year
    4.Use active and visual management to make sure that business requirements, service level agreements, and quality measures are understood by all team members and the team is focused on the daily work
    5.Delegate work clearly to ensure that all colleagues have a good understanding of their tasks, responsibilities, client/practice requirements, and priorities
    6.Measure the level of internal and/or external client satisfaction, taking corrective action if required
    7.Produce, analyse and share metrics and reports describing the productivity and quality of the team’s work
    8.Ensure that processes are documented and knowledge is captured, documented and shared within the team and the wider EMEA team
    9.Work together with the proposition leaders of the EMEA team to implement a system to train new hires and/or less experienced team members

    *Change Management
    1.Analyse data of the output of the team’s work and identify issues or trends connected to errors, time-consuming tasks, under- or over-capacity
    2.Engage the team in identifying processes, tools and documentation that can be improved, and encourage team members to suggest ways to enhance service delivery
    3.Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team
    4.Ensure that processes and systems are updated in line with any statutory, legislative or corporate changes
    5.Cooperate fully with auditors both internal and external and ensure that any recommendations are implemented as feasible
    6.Coordinate any projects that impact the team and ensure the team delivers the required results
    7.If required, manage the transition of work to or from the team

    *People Management
    1.Initiate and participate in recruitment processes to fill any team vacancies in connection with the EMEA COO
    2.Make 360° hiring decisions by checking that candidates have the right level of motivation, competence, technical know-how and communication skills to be valuable members of the team
    3.Set performance goals for colleagues based on the SMART model and ensure that these objectives are recorded in the respective Talent and Reward System (TRS)
    4.Keep track of colleagues’ performance and intervene appropriately if and when performance does not meet expectations and keep record of their performance
    5.Hold monthly/bi-monthly 1-2-1s with the colleagues to review performance, discuss issues, share feedback, discuss progress towards goals, plan upcoming actions and appreciate colleague’s efforts
    6.Evaluate and rate colleagues’ at the year end, ensuring each colleague receives an accurate written feedback
    7.Use the COMPs tool to make recommendations for colleagues’ bonuses and salary in line with their performance rating
    8.Use skills/capability matrix or development map to assess a colleague’s current skill level. Assign the colleague to work shadowing, self-study or training to resolve any skill gaps
    9.Hold development conversations with colleagues about their career aspirations and agree long-term development goals and activities that will help the colleague move their career forward. Make sure these objectives are recorded and tracked in the development plan in TRS

    -Strong people management skills
    -Knowledge of local HR, Security, IS, Health&Safety, Business Continuity policies
    -Good understanding of administration processes and procedures
    -Excellent MS-Office skills (in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    -Ability to make decisions and improvements based on metric skills
    -Strong problem solving skills
    -Good understanding of process efficiencies
    -Ability to communicate difficult messages and demonstrated strong writing and communication skill
    -Willingness to travel up to 20%
    -Willingness to work in a demanding and global environment
    -At least one year of experience in managing groups of 5 – 10 colleagues
