    The Enterprise Architect will be play a leadership role in IT Strategy & Architecture team part of Global CTO Office, and he/she will plays in building API market place at Aon and building API strategy, prioritizes enhancements, and facilitates implementation. Integration architect also serves as the API subject matter expert and product champion across business and IT stakeholders.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyzes enterprise business context (trends and business strategy), as well as change requirements in other architecture viewpoints, to derive the integration architecture future state
    • Develops, manages, and maintains an enterprise integration strategy and roadmap
    • Defines, communicates, and documents the patterns, standards, and technologies for the enterprise integration architecture
    • Understands and communicates how integration architecture interacts, supports, and integrates with other technologies and information systems
    • Defines high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state, typically in sync with the IT budgeting or other capital planning processes
    • Leads the development, of repeatable integration technology/information solution patterns for application of appropriate technology to business requirement
    • Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement
    • Documents necessary integration architecture design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection
    • Defines metrics to measure and demonstrate integration architecture value
    • Understands, advocates, and augments the business and IT strategies — and, more specifically, integration architecture development and service delivery

     Skills:

    • Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations
    • Ability to estimate the financial impact of integration architecture alternatives
    • Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems
    • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
    • Understanding of network and security architecture

    Experience:

    • 5+ Years of Integration architecture experience, Mulesoft expertise required
    • Experience in key integration platforms and patterns
    • Experience in designing and implementing Microservices / APIs based architecture
    • Should have led 1 full cycle implementation of Microservices preferably in Insurance domain
    • Experience in designing and implementing Microservices on cloud environments preferred
    • Experience in implementation of API management using MuleSoft
    • Experience in DevOps automation preferred
    • Hands on with Java, .Net, VB and Cobol skills with good debugging skills and ability to write high quality code that matches industry standards
